The Founder
Meet Dr S. Kapundja-Amupolo
Long before the white coat, there was the makeup brush. Dr Kapundja-Amupolo spent six years working as a professional makeup artist while studying medicine. She learned skin intimately, face by face, and saw how deeply healthy skin shapes confidence.
In her third year of medical school, a vision took shape: a skin clinic built on real dermatological science for African skin. Years later, in 2022, that vision became Brimstone Medical Practice, now caring for patients across Namibia with a focus on evidence based dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Working with thousands of patients revealed a recurring challenge. While effective in clinic treatments were available, achieving lasting results at home was often far more difficult. No single skincare brand consistently met the needs of her patients, especially those with melanin rich skin. Instead, treatment plans often required carefully combining products from multiple brands and asking patients to compromise with what was available rather than what was ideal.
One principle remained true: good home care is central to any skin treatment. Lasting clinical results depend on what patients do every day between appointments.
That realisation became the foundation of Glow Edit.
Glow Edit isn't about creating more skincare. It's about editing skincare. Every ingredient is intentionally included or intentionally left out to ensure each product earns its place in a routine. The result is a focused, problem-solving collection built on clinical evidence, thoughtful ingredient selection, and the real needs of real patients.
Every formula exists because it solves a problem seen repeatedly in clinical practice. Glow Edit is the continuation of the care patients receive at Brimstone Medical, extending evidence based dermatology beyond the consultation room and into everyday life.
